Academic Activities (PROJECT/ FIELD WORK/ EXCURSION ETC)

Academic Activities

Before start of every academic year each department holds exploratory meetings presided over by the head of the deptt. to earmark portions of the syllabi for each teacher. A time frame, too, is made before hand, so that the teachers have adequate time to prepare and discuss their portion of the course as well as to get a feed back from the students. Mid-term deptt. meetings monitor the progress in this regard. Some departments display weekly teaching plans on the departmental notice boards. Regular periodical class tests ensure that the syllabi are properly covered. Heads od departments regularly interact with the principal in this regard.
